Restoring a Healthy Smile through Full Mouth Reconstruction
Living with tooth loss, decay, or periodontal disease can negatively impact many aspects of your life. If you are living with significant oral health issues, a full mouth reconstruction can help you. With a comprehensive treatment plan from Dr. Brian K. Tavoian in Cedar City, UT, you can once again experience the benefits of a smile that is healthy, comfortable, fully functional, and attractive.

Candidacy
In short, if you are suffering from multiple oral health issues that compromise the function and comfort of your smile, you are likely a candidate for full mouth reconstruction.
It is never too late for full mouth reconstruction, and no smile is too compromised to benefit from this treatment. If anxiety or a fear of visiting the dentist has caused you to avoid essential treatment over the years, our practice offers several sedation options to help you relax during dental procedures. Your oral health is important, and we are willing to make any necessary accommodations in order to help you receive the treatment you need.

Estimated Costs
Costs for this treatment vary because each treatment plan is uniquely designed by Dr. Tavoian to fit your specific needs. It is important to note that because this treatment is largely restorative, dental insurance typically covers many of the costs. However, some treatments, such as dental implants, are widely considered elective. If there are any out-of-pocket costs associated with your treatment, we can help arrange a financing plan that makes these expenses a comfortable fit for your budget.
If you are concerned about the cost of treatment, it is always a good idea to discuss this with Dr. Tavoian. Our team may be able to phase treatment to help stagger costs, or offer alternative restorations that are less expensive. Dr. Tavoian believes in making excellent dentistry accessible, and his team is here to work with you to make your new smile a reality.
The Procedure
When designing your custom full mouth reconstruction plan, Dr. Tavoian will first address the most important health needs. Your restorative procedures may include extracting severely damaged or decayed teeth, root scaling and planing for advanced periodontal disease, or dental fillings, inlays, or onlays to repair decayed teeth. In addition, dental implants may be placed to replace lost tooth roots and prevent bone loss in the jaw. We offer custom crowns, bridges, and dentures to replace any missing teeth. If you require bone grafting before receiving implants, Dr. Tavoian can perform this treatment as well.
For patients with bruxism (teeth grinding or clenching), Dr. Tavoian may recommend a custom night guard to protect your restored smile, prevent future damage caused by night-time grinding, and improve painful TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorder symptoms.
